Julia Merry

Registered Chiropodist
At the Merry Family Foot Clinic our Chiropodist Julia Merry provides assessment and treatment of the foot and ankle for all ages. In addition to graduating from the Chiropody program at the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences, Julia also completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Podiatric Studies at the University of Brighton.
Julia has been practicing in the Kingston area since her graduation from the Michener Institute. She has been a member in good standing with the College of Chiropodists since 1994, and a member of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine since 2005. In order to provide the highest level of patient care, Julia regularly attends annual conferences as well as additional continuing education opportunities.
She is an avid supporter of the Kingston Humane Society, Martha’s Table, and Ducks Unlimited.
Kait Armstrong
Certified Foot Care Nurse
Kait is a registered nurse who graduated from Queens University in 2023. In addition to her degree in nursing, she completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences at uOttawa.
Kait began her nursing career in post-surgical rehabilitation where she realized adequate lower limb assessment and care could have prevented majority of the lower limb amputations she was seeing.
Kait studied footcare with Foot Care Canada in the summer of 2024 where she became a certified foot care nurse.
Kait is knowledgeable in routine and prophylactic care of the nails and feet, lower limb conditions, diabetic education and assessment, and compression sock assessment and fitting.
Janet Reid
Office Manager
Janet graduated from St. Lawrence College’s Legal and Medical Administration program in 2001 and started with the Merry Family Foot Clinic in August 2023.
